Google and other search engines pay you for bringing traffic to their website through the Genie! You will receive a check in the mail for any income raised by your supporters clicking away on the Genie.
There are many ways to earn payouts. Most payouts are monthly, but some payouts are weekly.
All funds in USD. You may want to open a USD savings account at your local branch, or simply have them convert it to CAD at the time of deposit.
Stats and numbers
The average Genie earns $1-$3 per month on PPC (pay per click) income only. The more Genie's you give away, the more funds you can raise.
There are many other ways that you can earn. If a Genie user completes a purchase, for example, a commission may be paid out on the purchase price of the item, depending on the affiliate.
Example situations (using Pay Per Click income generation only):
1. A basketball team (12 players)
>> Each player installs one on his/her own computer [+12]
>> Each player has his/her parents install on their home + work computer [+24]
>> Each player/family finds 4 others to install the Genie [+48]
>> Total of 12+24+48 = 84 Genie installs
>> 84 Genies _ $3 click income only = $252 / first month on click income only
>> If each player/family finds 4 people each month for another 4 months = 84+48+48+48+48= 276 Genies x $3 = $828 / month after only 5 months. If you continued this for one year = $1836/month.
>> Remember, this is PPC (Pay Per Click) income only. There are many other ways to create payouts.
>> The team could pay for tournaments, new uniforms, new equipment, and could also donate to charity or the community.
2. A small elementary school (400 kids)
>> Each child brings home the Genie for mom and dad to install on home + work computer [400x2=800 Genies]
>> Each loyal family finds 4 more friends to install the Genie to help support their school [400x4 = 1600 Genies]
>> Total of 800 + 1600 = 2400 Genie installs
>> 2400 Genies _ $3 click income only = $7200 / month. And remember, this is on PPC income only! Imagine the possibilities that this little elementary school would have. Field trips, healthier lunches, cooler science equipment, guest speakers, new books, upgraded computers and library!
